Course Content

Who should attend?
  • Nominated First Aiders.
  • Anybody who wants a comprehensive introduction to First Aid.
  • The Role and Responsibility of an Emergency First Aider.
  • Assessing an Incident.
  • Managing an Unresponsive Casualty who is Breathing Normally.
  • Managing an Unresponsive Casualty who is not Breathing Normally.
  • Recognise and Assist a Casualty who is Choking.
  • Managing a Casualty who is Wounded and Bleeding.
  • Managing a Casualty who is in Shock.
  • Managing a Casualty with a Minor Injury.
  • Administer First Aid for a Range of Symptoms.
  • Managing a Casualty for a Range of Major Illnesses.

Level 3 First Aid at Work

This First Aid at Work course is essential as it is a requirement of Health & Safety law that employers should ensure the health and safety and welfare of their employees and the public. Employees must also provide adequate personnel, training and equipment to render first aid to their employees.

All successful students will be issued with a new First Aid at Work Certificate which lasts for a period of 3 years, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualifications.
